Whether you are seeking a highly trained working dog, or a loving lifelong family companion, GSDA is committed to developing German Shepherds that embody the breed's intelligence, confidence, and natural protective instincts.

Meet the Founder

Meet Tim Ray, founder of the German Shepherd Defense (GSD) Academy. Driven by his lifelong love of dogs and a passion for developing well-trained, dependable German Shepherds, Tim founded the Academy to help each dog reach its full potential through professional training, structure, and care.

Our Puppies

Our puppies are pedigreed German Shepherds that are given basic compliance training. Our price range is based on training and the specifics of the puppy. Please inquire below for more information.

Training Classes

We offer multiple basic training classes before releasing the puppies (usually around 4 months).

Compliance Level 1 - 4

Starts at 8 weeks.

Manners and obedience.

An Introduction to Schutzhund (IGP) Training
